Your audit, in plain language
If you are certified by a body that uses PART, you log in and see your own audit: what was examined, which nonconformities were recorded and where your actions stand.
The audit arrives as a file
The usual course of events is that the audit ends, the report arrives as an email attachment a few weeks later, and the nonconformities are handled in an email thread with attachments in several versions.
Six months on, nobody knows which version applied, who sent the last response or whether the action was actually approved. Before the next audit, the searching starts again.
PART gives you the same picture the auditor has. You do not see each other's material and you do not see the body's internal work, but you see your own audit in full.
Three things in one place
Your audit
What was examined, which processes were included and which clauses of the standard the audit covered. The scope is written down and does not have to be interpreted.
Your nonconformities
Every nonconformity with its classification and its background. You see what the auditor actually observed, not just a heading in a report.
Your actions
Root cause analysis, planned action and status. You see what you have answered, what the body has assessed and what remains before the nonconformity is closed.
From recorded to closed
The nonconformity is recorded
The auditor records the nonconformity with a classification and the evidence. You see it linked to the process and the requirement it concerns.
You respond
You write your root cause analysis and planned action on the nonconformity. The response sits in the same place as the nonconformity, not in an email thread.
The body assesses
The auditor or the reviewer assesses the response. If more is needed, you see what is missing, set out on the nonconformity.
The nonconformity is closed
The closure is recorded with the evidence the decision rested on. Next year's audit starts from what actually happened.
What difference it makes at your end
One version, not five
There is one place where the nonconformity and the response sit. Nobody has to look for the latest version of a document.
The history comes with you
The last audit's nonconformities stay in place. Before the next audit you can see for yourselves what keeps coming back.
Material for your own management review
The status of open nonconformities can be read off when you need it, not only when the report is sent.
Common questions
How do we get access?
The account is created by the certification body that audits you. If they use PART, the login comes from them, and they decide who at your end should have it.
Do other companies see our material?
No. You see your own audits and nothing else. Access is governed by role and by client.
What does it cost us?
The agreement sits between the certification body and us. Ask your certification body what that means for you.
Our certification body does not use PART, what do we do?
Tell them about it, or get in touch with us and we will make contact. The system is set up per certification body, not per certified company.
Questions about your own audit?
Put them to your certification body first. If the question is about how PART works, we are happy to answer directly.
