Hosted in Sweden, with no third-party cloud
Audit records contain your clients' trade secrets. Where that material sits, and who can reach it, are questions you should be able to answer without reservation.
A certification body is audited too
You audit other organisations' management systems. Your own is examined by the accreditation body, and your clients in turn ask what happens to the material you collect from them. An audit tool is therefore not just a place to work, it is part of what you have to account for yourselves.
PART is built on that basis. The application is hosted in Sweden and uses no third-party cloud services. That is a short answer to a question that otherwise requires mapping subcontractors several layers deep.
It also makes the supplier review easier in the other direction. When your client asks where their nonconformity reports sit, you do not have to get back to them.
How it is arranged
Five decisions about hosting and access that sit at the bottom of the product.
Hosting in Sweden
The application is hosted in Sweden. You do not have to explain a chain of subcontractors to say where the material is.
No third-party cloud services
PART uses no third-party cloud. That removes a whole class of questions from your supplier review and from your clients'.
A separate environment per certification body
Every certification body gets its own address and its own environment. Your material sits on its own, not in a shared pile with other bodies'.
Access by role
Auditors, reviewers, administrators and certified clients see what their role entitles them to. Access is set in the system, not in an agreement.
Traceability in the record
Every observation carries who wrote it and when. The chain from requirement to observation to closed nonconformity can be followed afterwards.
The client sees their own, and only their own
Certified clients get their own accounts in your environment. They see their own audits, their nonconformities and their actions. They do not see each other, and they do not see your internal assessments beyond what is shared with them.
That makes a practical difference day to day. Nonconformities and responses do not have to be sent back and forth as files over email, where copies sit in the inboxes of people who no longer work there.
The questions you get, and the answers PART gives
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Where is the application hosted? | In Sweden. |
| Are third-party cloud services used? | No. |
| Does our material sit with other certification bodies'? | No. Each body has its own address and its own environment. |
| Can an auditor see assignments they are not part of? | Access is governed by role and assignment. |
| Can our clients see their own audit material? | Yes, through their own accounts in your environment. |
| Can we see who wrote what, and when? | Yes. Observations carry the auditor and the time. |
Questions about hosting
Can we put our own questions before a supplier review?
Yes, and that is the round of questions we would rather take early. Send us your checklist and we will go through it point by point instead of writing a general answer here.
What happens to the material if we stop using PART?
Extraction and deletion are governed by the agreement between you and us. We go through the terms before you sign, not afterwards.
Can we run PART in our own hosting environment?
Raise it in a demo. The answer depends on what your hosting looks like, and we would rather give an answer that holds than one that sounds good.
Who inside our body decides what others can see?
Your administrators set roles and access in your own environment. You do not have to go through us to add or remove an auditor.
Bring your security checklist
Book a walkthrough and ask the questions you will need answers to anyway. We go through hosting, access and traceability against your own requirements.
